Name Change Announcement

The Board of Directors is very pleased to announce that the Gift Planning Council of New Jersey has formally changed its name to the New Jersey Council of Charitable Gift Planners. The name change and rebrand is a result of strategic changes within our national organization, the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners, and the desire for our local council to be more aligned with national.

These changes are the result of nearly two years of member research, environmental analysis and program development. Be assured that while our name and look has changed our commitment to advancing the field of planned giving remains steadfast. In fact, we anticipate this change will increase our visibility and afford our members greater access to national resources.

For questions or more information about the change, please contact Greg Ellmer, President, New Jersey Council of Charitable Gift Planners, at 973-322-4302 or Gregory.Ellmer@rwjbh.org.

New Branding, Same Organization

We are pleased to announce that yesterday our Board of Directors voted to change our name; soon we will officially be known as the New Jersey Council of Charitable Gift Planners. This is in conformance with our stated goal to align more closely with our parent organization, the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners. It is our desire to improve communications between our members and the gift planning community nation-wide to provide the most up-to-date information and best practices to our members.

In conjunction with this goal of improving communication, we will soon be introducing a mobile-friendly website updated with new content and branding. More information will be forthcoming at our regular events over the next two months and through this news column.
