Trends in Philanthropic Planning for the High-Net-Worth Donors

Join us for our first, in-person event in 2024! NJCGP will explore trends in UHNW / HNW donors and their philanthropy. This annual study, presented in collaboration with Bank of America and Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, will share findings on how to engage high net-worth donors as organization volunteers, the changing role of women in philanthropy and strategies on how to engage the next generation of donors.

The session will be a great intro to those new to planned giving strategies and beneficial to those more experienced colleagues as they set goals and objectives for the upcoming year.

Key Findings:

  • The affluent continue to lead in charitable giving.
  • Volunteering is on the rebound among affluent Americans.
  • Affluent Americans leverage a robust toolkit of strategies to achieve philanthropic goals.
  • Affluent women are a force of change in the philanthropic sector.
  • Religious organizations continue to receive the largest share of giving dollars of affluent households.
  • The future of philanthropy relies on engaging the next generation of affluent Americans.
